EVwire brief: Tesla has registered another 30 Cybercabs in Texas. The latest batch brings the company's total number of registered Cybercabs in the state to 349, as per Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) records.
The new batch continues to reshape Tesla's Robotaxi fleet in the Lone Star state. Cybercabs now make up about 45% of the 769 Tesla Robotaxi vehicles registered in Texas, up from 43% after Tesla registered a record 150 Cybercabs in a single batch last week, which pushed its count from 169 to 319.
Industry watcher Sawyer Merritt flagged the new registrations on X:

Interestingly enough, the Model Y side of the fleet has held steady at 420 vehicles since late September, which means that the purpose-built two-seater continues to account for all of the fleet's recent growth.
The Texas AV Tracker, which pulls daily registration data from the TxDMV, shows how quickly the Cybercab line has climbed since the vehicle first appeared in registrations at the end of August.
Here's its all-time fleet growth chart, with Cybercabs now at 349 while the Model Y line stays flat at 420:

Context:
The Cybercab's Texas registration count has climbed quickly since the vehicle first appeared in TxDMV records on August 31, when Tesla added 45 units in one day. The tally reached 126 by September 28 and 169 in early October before last week's record batch pushed it to 319.
The registrations line up with what Tesla has been saying about its Cybercab ramp. Last weekend, Tesla's Robotaxi account said the company had scaled to more than 300 Cybercabs in Austin, an 8x increase since rides opened to the public on September 4. Tesla VP of AI Software Ashok Elluswamy also teased that Cybercab rides are coming to Dallas next, where Tesla has been building an autonomous fleet operations site in Irving with room for up to 212 vehicles.
