You could start the timeline from July 19, 2006, when the first Roadster Prototype was released, and the production started in 2008. From there,

March 9, 2020: 1 Million Teslas Produced

Tesla reached its 1 millionth electric car produced in 2020, ~12 years from the start of Roadster production in 2008.

September 2021: 2 Million

Tesla hit the 2 million vehicle mark roughly 15 months after the 1 millionth vehicle.

August 2022: 3 Million

Tesla produced its 3 millionth vehicle ~10 months after achieving 2 million.

March 2023: 4 Million

Tesla’s 4 millionth vehicle was produced at Giga Texas ~7 months from the previous milestone.

September 2023: 5 Million

Tesla’s 5-millionth rolled off the line in Shanghai, this time taking about 6.5 months to add a million.

March 29, 2024: 6 Million

Tesla announced its 6 millionth vehicle, a Stealth Gray Model Y, produced at the Fremont Factory, again roughly 6.5 months after the 5 million mark.

October 22, 2024: 7 Million

A white Model Y marked Tesla’s 7 millionth vehicle at the Fremont Factory, achieved in about 6.25 months.

June 6, 2025: 8 Million Vehicles Produced

NOW: Tesla celebrated its 8 millionth vehicle, an Ultra Red Model Y, at Gigafactory Berlin, around 8 months after the 7 million milestone.
