Adventuring through the Canadian Rockies

EVwire brief: The very first third-party-owned Tesla Superchargers in North America have now been installed by Suncoast Charging, in Land Oโ€™ Lakes, Florida. The charger is built and serviced by Tesla, but owned and operated by Suncoast Charging.

As far as we can tell, this is also the grand start for the Suncoast Charging as a charge operator as well.

Tesla Superchargers with your logo on it? Yes, now possible.

Although Tesla has had a notable partnership in Europe for whitelabeling the Superchargers for a while now with EVpoint, there have been no such deals in North America so far. Until now.

You can learn more on the dedicated Tesla website Superchargers for Business, and hereโ€™s how it works per Tesla.

Tesla says: โ€œBy purchasing your own Superchargers, you get the technology, reputation and industry knowledge that weโ€™ve acquired from over a decade of managing Supercharger operations.โ€

These sites will also be visible on Tesla Navigation for all Tesla owners, which is certainly a large benefit for the third-party CPOs installing these in terms of utilization.
