Courtyard Supercharger: Fredericksburg, Texas gets its first third-party Tesla charging site

... a real boutique destination for your EV charge

Courtyard Supercharger: Fredericksburg, Texas gets its first third-party Tesla charging site

EVwire Brief: Fredericksburg, Texas, is now home to a Tesla V4 Supercharger site delivered through a third-party partner: Courtyard FBG TX.

The eight-stall Supercharger site is situated at a unique… well, a courtyard, with a boutique grocer, a champagne lounge, an events venue, and a wine bar:

The site was developed with the help of a local contractor, who described the build as a “beast of a project” involving thousands of work hours before going live to the public. The property owner, Courtyard FBG TX, owns the Supercharger V4 site. We added the Courtyard logo on the chargers to give you an idea of what it will likely look like:

The site features V4 Superchargers capable of delivering up to 325 kW, making them among the fastest chargers currently available in the Texas Hill Country.

It is also Fredericksburg’s first and only Tesla Supercharger (at least for now).

The site is located at 108 S Elk St in Fredericksburg, which features The Market at Elk and Main, a boutique grocer; Six Twists, a champagne lounge; The Harvey, an events place; and Ocotillo, a wine bar.

It even includes a dog park, adding a convenient and fun on-site amenity for drivers during charging sessions.

Access is open to both Tesla and non-Tesla vehicles that have compatible NACS ports or adapters.

In a LinkedIn post, Digital Stylist President James K Doster hinted that similar projects with Tesla could be pursued in the future: “The real win? We clicked so well with Tesla, they’ve already got us lined up for more.”

Tesla’s official charging account also confirmed the location as an eight-stall installation.

How Tesla’s Supercharger for Business program works

Tesla’s Supercharger for Business program allows external partners to host and develop charging sites, enabling faster expansion without requiring Tesla to directly build and operate every location. Here’s Tesla laying out exactly which responsibilities fall on which party involved:

This model has been gaining traction as Tesla scales its network across new regions, particularly in areas where local partners can accelerate deployment timelines.

Tesla’s V4 Supercharger cabinet push is accelerating, too. In a recent announcement, the official Tesla Charging account on X stated that Gigafactory New York is no longer producing V3 Supercharger Cabinets. All production is now focused on V4 Cabinets.

More to come from Supercharging for Business

The recent launch of Supercharger for Business seems to have gotten a strong start, where any third party can purchase Superchargers and Tesla’s service that comes with it, and launch on their own terms while reaping the benefits of ultra-reliability and also discoverability in Tesla’s charging network.

Just recently, we’ve seen and reported on Tesla Superchargers deployed with:

  • Alpharetta City Police Department, which features four 325kW V4 chargers

  • Suncoast Charging, beautifully wrapped Superchargers in Florida.

  • Pie Safe bakery in Deary, Idaho

  • In California, bp Pulse installing 750kW MCS Megachargers

  • Francis Energy in Oklahoma with larger plans

  • Wawa now deploying their own Superchargers

  • Pilot J building a Megacharging network jointly with Tesla

There are very few people in the world today who can say this with authority. Elon Musk is one of them.
