EVwire brief: Francis Energy has commissioned 100 Tesla Supercharger stalls across 17 sites in Oklahoma through the Tesla Superchargers for Business program. The company's Chief Strategy Officer Seth Christ confirmed the milestone on LinkedIn.
The results have been dramatic. Some of the upgraded Oklahoma sites are seeing 5x the utilization they saw before, and Francis Energy is currently #1 in commissioned stalls on the program nationally, with more locations in Oklahoma and other states scheduled to come online this year.
“This is what the charging network build-out looks like when it's done well. Not ribbon cuttings without reliability. Real infrastructure, real utilization, real outcomes.”
Here's Christ's update on LinkedIn:
As per the CSO, the six-month effort upgraded Francis Energy's original Gen 1 DC fast-charging equipment, installed back in 2019, to modern Tesla Superchargers fitted with Magic Dock and open-access credit card readers, making the stalls compatible with every EV on the road today. He also credited the gains to removing friction for drivers through better hardware, universal compatibility, and reliable uptime.
Context:
Tesla's Superchargers for Business program lets businesses purchase and host Tesla's charging hardware at their own sites, putting the company’s equipment in the hands of third-party operators. Tesla's charging team has been pushing on the deployment side too, recently setting up its first Folding Unit Superchargers in Europe.

Francis Energy now operates 100 Supercharger stalls across 17 sites in Oklahoma
