EVwire brief: MG has revealed pricing for the electric MG 07 ahead of its July 29 pre-sales launch. As per MG General Manager Chen Cui, the entry-level 07 starts under ¥150,000 (about $22,100) and runs a liquid-solid-state battery pack rated for 610 km, or 379 CLTC miles.
The flagship electric trim uses a different battery chemistry entirely: an 800V system built around 5C fast-charging cells, stretching range to 840 km (522 miles) for roughly $26,500. MG is also offering a plug-in hybrid version that can run 185 km (115 miles) on electric power alone.

The MG 07 is as big as the BMW X5 (F15), which is not a small car by any means.
MG is pairing every electric trim with Momenta's R7 driving stack on a dedicated Xheart X7 compute module, the first time an independent Chinese sedan brand has shipped the system. MG is positioning the system as a rival to Tesla's FSD V14, which is only partially released in China.

The MG 07’s exterior is sleek, but a lot of its key features are found inside the cabin.
Context:
The 07 rides on SAIC's Nebula EV platform, and it measures 4,886 mm long on a 2,825 mm wheelbase. Up front, an unconventional layout squeezes in a 168-liter frunk, room enough for two 20-inch flight cases.
The fastback's rear trunk holds 697 liters, expanding to 1,563 liters with the rear seats folded. Tucked underneath is a hidden 109-liter compartment with its own 30-liter dual-zone freezer, which chills to 0°C in 10 minutes and holds that temperature for a full day after the car shuts off.

It’s little things like a lighted mirror and a table for makeup that make the MG 07’s interior unique.
Up front, the passenger seat reclines 130 degrees, adds massage function, and folds out its own vanity mirror, run through an Oppo-skinned Snapdragon 8295P infotainment system.
