Adventuring through the Canadian Rockies

EVWire brief: Madrid has launched one of the countryโ€™s biggest EV charging hubs, with 40 public fast charge points now available at the renovated Nuevos Ministerios metro station.

Location: Nuevos Ministerios Metro Station, Paseo de la Castellana, Madrid

Chargers: 40 DC chargers
22 fast chargers by Iberdrola | bp pulse with 175 kW to 350 kW;
18 fast chargers by Tesla
expected to expand to 60 chargers in the coming months.

Total available power: 3.5MW. All energy supplied comes exclusively from 100% certified renewable sources.

At this same location, in 2020, Porsche Ibรฉrica and Melfosur installed two 50 kW chargers for all electric car users. โ€œThis was undoubtedly the seed of what has been implemented today,โ€ Porsche writes.
