EVwire brief: PPR Energy Solutions, a Buffalo-area electrical contractor, has deployed four Tesla V4 Superchargers at 1738 Grand Island Blvd in Grand Island, New York, hosted by local business leader Larry Playfair.
The stalls support both NACS and CCS, plus a fully ADA-accessible charging stall, and sit just off the Grand Island Bridge on the route between Buffalo and Niagara Falls. PPR highlighted the site’s convenient location on its LinkedIn post.
“Whether you’re stopping for food, grabbing coffee, visiting nearby shops, or heading toward the waterfront, this site makes it easy to top off your battery while enjoying everything the community has to offer.”
The announcement didn't go unnoticed inside Tesla. Nihal Hussain, who works on Tesla's Commercial Charging team, congratulated the PPR team in a reply: "Great work Michael and rest of PPR Team! This one being super local to me, will be visiting for sure!"
PPR Energy Solutions is a family-owned electrical contractor based in Buffalo, led by owners Michael Prinzi and Michael Smith. The company combines more than 40 years of renewable-energy experience with 35 years in electrical contracting, and is a Tesla-approved Wall Connector installer serving most of Western New York, from Rochester to Niagara Falls.

Context:
The deployment makes PPR part of the growing number of third-party hosts building out Tesla's Supercharger for Business program, which lets companies buy, install, and own V4 charging stalls on their own property while Tesla runs the network software and payments behind the scenes.
Under that program, hosts set their own local pricing and keep ownership of the site, while Tesla supplies the hardware, manages the software and payments, and charges a flat per-kWh service fee. A four-stall V4 setup like PPR's typically starts around $250,000 in hardware costs alone, before installation, according to Tesla's own pricing.

The PPR team uses EVs, such as a Tesla Cybertruck and a Chevy Bolt, on its fleet.
Tesla has launched its Supercharger for Business program globally, from countries in Europe like Germany, Belgium, and Sweden, to Middle Eastern countries such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, among others. The program is accelerating in the United States, with Tesla recently launching the Semi Charging for Business program, for customers of the Tesla Semi.
