EVwire brief: Škoda Auto has revealed the Peaq, the new flagship of its electric range and the brand's first entry into the large SUV segment.
The seven-seat SUV tops Škoda's electric range with a listed WLTP range of over 640 km (398 miles) and the largest battery the brand has ever fitted.
“The Peaq represents a new reference point for Škoda as our brand flagship, bringing together our core strengths in a way that reflects where we are heading as a company.[…] This is how we continue to make Škoda relevant for an even wider audience.”

The Peaq doubles Škoda's all-electric lineup
The Peaq sits at the top of Škoda's electric range as its first large, three-row EV, a roomier electric counterpart to the combustion Kodiaq. Together with the smaller Epiq, it roughly doubles the brand's fully electric line-up.
Škoda's electric models have been among Europe's stronger EV sellers, and the Peaq now caps that range from the top.

It’s boxy, but the Peaq has a drag coefficient of 0.249
Design and exterior
The Peaq follows Škoda's Modern Solid design language, with new T-shaped light signatures front and rear, the brand's first flush door handles, and its largest panoramic roof yet with Dynamic Shade Control.
Length: 4.87 m (16.0 ft), on a near-3-metre wheelbase
Drag coefficient: 0.249

The Peaq is a seven-seater, though the third row (as is typical of its class) seems designed for kids or small adults
Cabin and space
Inside, the Peaq seats up to seven and leans into Škoda's "lounge on wheels" pitch, with the brand's biggest boot to date.
Cargo: 935-litre (33 cu ft) boot in the five-seat layout, plus a 37-litre frunk
Display: 13.6-inch portrait touchscreen, a Škoda first
Audio: 16-speaker Sonos system
Wireless charging: a 25W pad for two phones, with illumination and integrated magnets
Relax Package (optional): ventilated, massaging front seats, ergonomic legrests and a wellbeing app

The Peaq’s cockpit leans heavily into Škoda's "lounge on wheels" references
Battery, range and charging
Two batteries anchor the range, a 63 kWh pack and a 91 kWh unit that is the largest Škoda has fitted, driving the rear or all four wheels.
Range: over 640 km (398 miles) WLTP
Power: three variants, 150 kW (201 hp) to 220 kW (295 hp)
Efficiency: one-pedal driving, bidirectional charging and a next-generation heat pump
Here are the Peaq’s three variants and their range.
Peaq 60 (Base RWD): ~440–450 km WLTP range (63 kWh battery / 59 kWh usable)
Peaq 90 (Long Range RWD): Over 640 km WLTP range (91 kWh battery / 86 kWh usable)
Peaq 90x (Long Range AWD): ~605–610 km WLTP range (91 kWh battery / 86 kWh usable)

With an WLTP range of over 640 km (398 miles), the Peaq should be a good long-distance family hauler
Safety and assistance
Škoda fits ten airbags as standard, including centre and rear side airbags, with a deeper driver-assist suite available on the options list.
Standard: Front, Crossroad, Turn and Side Assist
Optional: Travel Assist 3.0, Top Area View 360° and Intelligent Park Assist

The Peaq Sportline seems geared more towards aesthetics, not performance
Sportline variant
A Sportline version arrives from launch with gloss-black accents, LED Matrix headlights and an all-black cabin, and pairs with any powertrain.
Škoda has not yet announced pricing for the Peaq.
