EVwire brief: Tesla has received regulatory approval to deploy Full Self-Driving Supervised in Lithuania, making it the second European country to activate the system following the Netherlands.
The rollout to customer vehicles begins in the coming days via an over-the-air software update.
Tesla's Europe, Middle East and Africa account broke the news on X:
Context:
In a press release, Tesla confirmed that Lithuania's approval follows the system's European debut in the Netherlands in April 2026. Since that rollout began, European drivers have collectively logged more than 15 million km (9.3 million miles) with FSD Supervised active.
The groundwork in Lithuania had been building quietly for weeks. Tesla opened public FSD ride-along experiences at its Vilnius location starting April 20, giving residents the chance to experience the system from the passenger seat.
The company also began hiring FSD Vehicle Operators in Lithuania and eight other European countries in late April.

Lithuania is Europe’s second country to receive FSD Supervised
Prior to the Lithuanian approval, Tesla conducted more than 1.8 million kilometers (1.12 million miles) of internal FSD testing across Europe, prepared thousands of documents and track test scenarios, and conducted demonstrations for regulatory authorities in almost every EU member state.
The system operates as a Level 2 driver-assistance platform. Drivers must remain attentive and legally responsible for the vehicle at all times, with driver monitoring sensors enforcing engagement throughout.
Tesla says that when FSD (Supervised) is enabled, the probability of a collision per kilometer driven is up to 7 times lower compared to manual driving alone.

Since FSD Supervised’s release in the Netherlands, Tesla owners have traveled 9.3 million miles
FSD’s European expansion
Pricing in Lithuania will likely follow the same structure established in the Netherlands. Owners can expect to pay €99 per month, with former Enhanced Autopilot subscribers eligible for a discounted rate of approximately €49 monthly.
FSD’s one-time purchase option is being phased out in Europe this May, making subscription the only path to access. (Thanks @knytanders for correcting us on this!)
Both HW3 and HW4 vehicles are eligible for FSD Supervised in Europe, though HW3 hardware cannot support future unsupervised capability. Tesla has confirmed a “V14 Lite” update for HW3 vehicles is expected in late June.
