EVwire brief: Tesla is attending the Thailand Motor Show 2026, showcasing the recently unveiled Model Y L and a fully dismantled Model 3 as its key exhibits.
The update was shared by Consumer Engagement Manager Chattrawat Prasertsuk, who described Tesla Thailand’s presence at the event as its most ambitious yet.
Thailand is one of the few markets globally to receive the extended wheelbase Model Y variant.
The Model Y L is positioned as a six-seat SUV designed for family use, with increased interior space and a fully redesigned second row with captain seats.
Tesla Thailand has highlighted key specs for the vehicle, including up to 681 km of WLTP range, 0–100 km/h acceleration in around five seconds, and an expanded cargo capacity of over 2,500 liters.
The vehicle also features adaptive suspension and a 19-speaker audio system, as well as a 16-inch infotainment display.
Alongside the Model Y L, Tesla also displayed a fully dismantled Tesla Model 3, offering a detailed look at the vehicle’s internal components and engineering.
According to Prasertsuk, the Model 3 display allows visitors to see “Tesla’s technology from the inside out.”

The vehicle has a starting price of 1,999,000 THB (US$60,675), with monthly payments starting from 15,999 THB (US$486).
Early Model Y L reservation holders are set to receive some special perks, such as an exclusive test drive opportunity and priority vehicle deliveries.
