EVwire brief: Polestar is launching sales in the Baltic region, entering Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania as its 29th, 30th and 31st markets.
The rollout runs through Volvax Baltic's existing retailer network. The first dedicated Polestar Space opens in Tallinn, Estonia, this June, with locations in Riga, Latvia, and Vilnius, Lithuania, following in the second half of 2026.
"Expanding into the Baltic region is a natural next step for Polestar as we continue to grow in Europe, and is part of our journey to grow our sales network in 2026 to 250 locations globally. [...] It's a significant achievement for a young brand like Polestar to operate in more than 30 markets."

Europe is home to 78% of Polestar’s vehicle sales
Context:
The Baltic entry is part of Polestar's wider push to grow its retail network to 250 locations globally in 2026, with stores increasingly designed around test drives to get more customers behind the wheel.
Europe remains Polestar's largest geographical market by some distance, accounting for 78% of the brand's total retail sales volumes in the first quarter of 2026.

Polestar has committed to adding back buttons to its vehicles’ interiors
On the charging side, Polestar says Baltic customers will get access through Polestar Charge to more than 2,800 charging points across the three countries, ranging from high-speed chargers to local options.
The retail expansion runs alongside a busy stretch for the brand. Polestar plans to launch four new EVs by 2028, and has been leaning on its direct-to-customer model to act on owner feedback, recently confirming it is bringing back physical buttons after customers asked for them.
