Tesla FSD Supervised drives 15 million km in Europe, less than 40 days since RDW approval

EVwire brief: Tesla says European drivers have now logged more than 15 million kilometers (9.32 million miles) using Full Self-Driving (Supervised) since the system’s rollout began in the Netherlands last month.

The milestone arrives roughly 39 days after the system first reached customer vehicles in the Netherlands on April 11.

❝

Since the customer rollout began in the Netherlands in April, more than 15 million kilometers have been driven in Europe with FSD (Supervised).

— Tesla Europe announcement

Tesla previously announced on May 4 that Dutch drivers alone had already surpassed 10 million kilometers (6,21 million miles) on FSD Supervised in under a month following the Netherlands’ April 10 approval.

FSD Supervised users in Europe accumulated another 5 million kilometers (3.10 million miles) in roughly 16 days

Context:

Considering the numbers in Tesla’s press release, FSD Supervised users in Europe accumulated another 5 million kilometers (3.10 million miles) in roughly 16 days.

Tesla noted in its announcement that it conducted more than 1.8 million kilometers (1.12 million miles) of internal FSD testing across Europe before the system reached customers. European drivers have now collectively driven more than eight times that figure on public roads since mid-April.

The Netherlands remains FSD Supervised’s anchor market. Lithuania has become the second European country to approve FSD Supervised, with customer rollout beginning via OTA update in the coming days.

FSD looks ready to take on Lithuania’s streets, at least based on the company’s video on X, which features FSD Supervised taking on the country’s roads during a rainy day:

Tesla’s European FSD tests

FSD Supervised is trained using real-world driving data from European road conditions, including infrastructure, signage, and traffic patterns that differ from the U.S. dataset the system was originally trained on.

In its announcement, Tesla stated that the global fleet now collectively drives more than 320 million kilometers (198.83 million miles) every day. Its Q1 2026 update letter also stated that FSD Supervised is seeing an uptick in subscribers, hitting record net subscriptions during the quarter.

With Lithuania now confirmed and Belgium approving FSD for road tests, the 15 million km figure is unlikely to hold as a headline for long.

A year late, but Szeged is now "the number one priority."
