EVwire brief: Saudi Arabia's CEER Motors has officially launched its first two production vehicles, the EXOBOT Sedan and EXOBOT SUV, in a world premiere at its manufacturing complex in King Abdullah Economic City.
Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, in his role as PIF Chairman, unveiled the cars himself. Here's a rundown of what the flagship EVs actually bring to the table.
Meet the EXOBOT Sedan

The EXOBOT Sedan is CEER's performance flagship, with a pair of "Shahin Wing" doors that swing open like a falcon's wingspan and the largest windshield CEER says it's ever fitted to a production car. The numbers below tell the rest of the story.

Meet the EXOBOT SUV
The EXOBOT SUV, wedge-shaped and considerably taller than the Sedan.
The EXOBOT SUV shares the sedan's powertrain and battery, wrapped in a taller, wedgier body with a lot more ground clearance.

Worth noting: CEER also lists a higher-output configuration of 828 kW (1,111 hp) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb-ft), which cuts the Sedan's 0-100 km/h (62 mph) time to 2.1 seconds with a 250 km/h (155 mph) top speed, and the SUV's to 2.4 seconds with a 210 km/h (130 mph) top speed.
Context:
CEER was incorporated in 2022 as a joint venture between Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry), with BMW licensing component technology to the new brand. Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued CEER its industrial manufacturing license in 2023, and construction began on its manufacturing facility in 2024.
CEER unveiled its brand identity and logotype almost exactly a year before this week's vehicle reveal, on September 21, 2025, telling customers its flagship designs were finalized and would be revealed soon. In February 2026, the company signed 16 memoranda of understanding worth a combined 3.7 billion SAR at the PIF Private Sector Forum as it builds out a local supply chain for the EXOBOT sedan and SUV.
CEER says EXOBOT is just the start. The automaker is planning a seven-model portfolio by 2030, including mid-size and compact vehicles with a mix of propulsion options, and is targeting 45% local material sourcing by 2034.
