EV Auto wraps Supercharger for Business stalls with guitars of 8 legendary artists

EVwire brief: EV Auto has given its Tesla Supercharger for Business site in Brentwood, Tennessee a Nashville-worthy makeover: all eight stalls now carry custom wraps featuring guitars of eight legendary artists.

Each wrapped stall showcases a different iconic guitar with the artist's signature, a "Powered by EV AUTO" badge, and a QR code inviting drivers to learn the story behind the instrument while they charge.

DIY Wrap Club, a Chattanooga-based vehicle wrap company formerly known as TESBROS, handled the work. The project was highlighted by company CEO Ji Hoon Heo on LinkedIn:

One particularly striking stall features a red Hagstrom guitar with Elvis Presley's signature. Elvis famously played a Hagstrom Viking II during his iconic 1968 Comeback Special, which cemented the instrument in rock history. That guitar later sold at auction for over $625,000.

EV Auto posted a dedicated page for the guitars featured in its Supercharger for Business site. DIY Wrap Club also shared the full lineup of guitars that were featured in the location.

EV Auto co-founder and CEO Alex Lawrence previously noted that the location will not just feature chargers with unique wraps. The site will also feature a blow-up movie screen showing films at night, free drinks, and EV test drives.

Alex explained this in an earlier LinkedIn video:

Context:

Lawrence previously stated that EV Auto has more than 20 Supercharger for Business locations in development across five states, comprising over 100 posts. Plans are underway to grow this to 50 by the end of 2026. Long-term, the goal is to establish 1,000 posts nationwide, in about 125-150 locations.

EVwire covered this story in June:

EV Auto, a pre-owned EV dealership founded in 2019, operates the chargers through Tesla's Supercharger for Business program, which lets companies purchase and host their own Supercharger hardware while Tesla handles network operations, maintenance, and 24/7 driver support. The sites integrate into Tesla's in-car navigation and are open to all EV models.
