EVwire brief: Tesla now has 126 Cybercabs registered in Texas, up from 69 a few days ago.
As of September 28, the Texas AV Tracker's live snapshot of Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) registrations shows 546 Tesla Robotaxi vehicles in the state, comprised of 420 Model Ys and 126 Cybercabs.

Tesla's official Robotaxi account recently posted a count of 420 Model Ys and 69 Cybercabs, which means the Model Y count has held steady while the Cybercab count nearly doubled.
Cybercabs first appeared in Texas registrations on August 31, with 45 added that day. The count then crept up for weeks, with 49 on September 8, 58 on September 18 and 69 on September 23, as observed by Tesla watcher Nic Cruz Patane's running tally of the official DMV numbers on X.
The whole Tesla Robotaxi fleet in Texas has grown from 42 vehicles on May 28 to 546, a net gain of 504, and Cybercabs now make up 23.1% of it.

Context:
The Cybercab moved from weeks of employee-only rides to public service on September 4, when Tesla opened rides to the general public across the entire Austin geofence. At the launch event, Tesla's head of autonomy, Ashok Elluswamy, announced that the Cybercab fleet had crossed 1 million cumulative unsupervised miles.
The Cybercab is a purpose-built two-seat robotaxi with no steering wheel and no pedals, and Tesla is building it with its unboxed manufacturing process, which assembles the vehicle in modules instead of on a single traditional line.
