EVwire brief: Tesla has opened its 3,000th Canadian Supercharger at a new 24-stall site in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, just in time for Canadian Thanksgiving.
The milestone unit at the Montée Ryan location wears a red wrap with a white maple leaf, keeping up Tesla's habit of dressing up its landmark chargers. The Supercharger is located at 235 Montée Ryan, Mont-Tremblant, QC J8E 1S3, and it’s open 24/7.

Max de Zegher, Tesla's Senior Director of Charging, marked the milestone by recalling his own scouting trips for the network. Back in 2015, he took a Model S P85 through some of Canada's most isolated regions looking for future Supercharger locations, and the gaps between chargers at the time were wide enough that he sometimes went without cabin heat in winter to make the next stop.
He explained how the network has changed since then in a post on X:
Night and day now. Those same routes have 3+ Superchargers between destinations that you can skip, where there used to be none.
A charging company would have stopped at Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Tesla Charging completed the Trans-Canada route in 2019 and kept adding sites along the main corridors and secondary routes so people can get home confidently for the holidays.

Mont-Tremblant joins a line of milestone Superchargers that Tesla has singled out with custom finishes. Tesla's 75,000th stall worldwide, which went live in Hobart, Tasmania, late last year, came in a "glacier blue" finish, and Australia's 1,000th stall followed in Byron Bay this June with its own special wrap and a "No. 1000" plaque. The Adelaide-area site that took Australia to 100 locations in 2024 was dressed in green and gold.
Tesla gives the same treatment to its first chargers in a new country. When it launched Supercharging in Colombia in May, one of the first stalls in Bogotá was wrapped in the national flag's yellow, blue and red, echoing the Chilean-flag design Tesla used when it first brought Superchargers to South America.
