Giga Berlin plant manager André Thierig credited the factory's team for the record:
Today, we hit for the first time 7,000 builds in a single week! Kudos to the entire Giga Berlin team for making this happen. This requires a lot of hard work, dedication and passion. Our team has shown again its winner mentality and great morale to secure this milestone! Thanks team Giga Berlin and keep pushing! The job is not done!
Thierig also said in a reply on X that the factory currently runs 24/5. That works out to about 1,400 vehicles per production day.

Context:
The record comes as Giga Berlin pushes toward the 7,500-per-week goal Thierig outlined in June, when the plant was building around 5,000 vehicles per week. Tesla is hiring 1,000 more workers to reach its current goal. Tesla also ordered extra shifts in September to help close the gap.
Tesla's plans for Grünheide go well beyond 7,500 per week. It has a long-term goal of up to 1 million vehicles per year. The company is preparing to file plans for a second production hall more than twice the size of the current one. It is also investing $250 million in 4680 cell production at the site, raising its planned capacity from 8 GWh to 18 GWh per year. The 7,000-car week is a stepping stone for a factory Tesla wants to make much bigger.
