EVwire brief: A fresh batch of 55 production Tesla Semis has been spotted outside Tesla's Semi Factory in Nevada, with the trucks appearing ready for delivery about a month after Tesla officially opened the plant and kicked off high-volume production of its Class 8 electric truck.
The trucks were captured in a new drone video from Tesla Semi advocate Zanegler, who has been documenting the factory with drone flights since its buildout in 2024. Tesla watcher Sawyer Merritt counted 55 new Semis in the footage, parked in long rows alongside the factory building.

Tesla Semi Program Lead Dan Priestley, who was tagged Zanegler’s the post, replied with a single wave emoji, a nod to the drone operator’s "new wave of Tesla Semis" caption. Priestley did not share any details about production volumes.
Zanegler's footage has been one of the best running records of the Semi program in Nevada. He also captured customer-branded Semis lined up outside the plant ahead of Tesla's rollout event in September, with logos from PepsiCo, DHL, WattEV, IMC Logistics and HMD, among others.
Here's Zanegler's video:
The Semi Factory sits next to Gigafactory Nevada and is designed to build 1,000 Semis per week, with Standard Range, Long Range and European-spec trucks all coming off the same line. Output is expected to increase gradually toward an annual capacity target of 50,000 trucks.
Every truck in Zanegler's video is white, which lines up with what Tesla VP of Vehicle Engineering Lars Moravy said about the factory's powder-coating process during the rollout event. As per Moravy, all Semis for now are white, though other colors may be offered later on.

Context:
The new batch of Semis comes as Tesla pushes the truck into more markets. Tesla has confirmed the Semi for the UK, hiring a Semi Business Development Manager in London, and it launched Semi Charging for Business in Canada last week. Its Megacharger network is spreading east as well, with Tesla linking Atlanta and Savannah and saying many more Southeast sites are coming soon.
Demand has been building alongside the ramp. ZET SCALE named Tesla the primary truckmaker for its 2,500-truck electric Class 8 order, and HMD Trucking is buying 50 Semis. At the Semi rollout event, Tesla said its pilot fleet of just under 200 trucks had logged 17.5 million miles, and that it expects more than 30 Megacharger stations to be online by the end of the year. This means that the trucks rolling out of Nevada have a growing list of customers and chargers waiting for them.
