EVwire brief: Tesla is hiring a Business Development Manager for the Semi, based in London, England.
The full-time role centers on winning and supporting Semi fleet customers. The manager will turn leads into sales contracts, negotiate deals, and guide customers through onboarding, commissioning and delivery of both their trucks and charging infrastructure.
Here's Tesla's job listing:

Tesla also wants the hire to meet regularly with Semi customers to understand their duty cycles, and to work with site managers on specifying vehicles and charging.
Where a project involves external funding, the manager will work with government agencies and feed input to Tesla's policy team on how funding programs, regulation and legislation could affect the Semi program.
The UK is an interesting market for the Semi since it drives on the left, and most trucks sold there are right-hand drive. That shouldn't be an issue for the Semi, though, as its driver sits in a central seat that works the same on either side of the road.

By the way, it sure looks to us like you are an EV geek like ourselves.

Context:
The UK role follows similar Semi sales hires across Europe. Tesla posted a Semi sales role near Munich in June, and Jean-William Dubal joined Tesla as Semi Business Development Manager in France in August. The UK was also one of five countries where Tesla launched Semi Charging for Business in September, alongside Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
The European Semi itself debuted at IAA Transportation 2026, where EVwire covered the reveal live with a full walkaround of the Euro-spec truck and Dan Priestley's Semi Europe keynote. Tesla is targeting European deliveries in 2027, and Swiss company Käppeli has already placed the first known Semi order from Europe.
Here’s Jaan’s walkaround of the Semi Europe version from IAA. This is the variant that will be rolled out to the UK:
