ETRUCKWIRE · DATA
China buys electric heavy trucks by the hundred thousand and rarely announces a single order, so this page tracks everyone else: every order, delivery and fleet we can verify outside China, from a 500-truck Tesla Semi order to two Windrose semis in Australia. 3,046 trucks in 23 orders logged since January. Updated 14 Sep 2026.

The ten largest electric heavy truck orders announced since 1 January 2026 by buyers outside China, in trucks. Bars share one 0 to 1,000 scale. Exports from Chinese makers count, Chinese domestic fleets do not, and plans, letters of intent and battery-swap service agreements are not counted. The arrow on each line opens the source.

OUR READ
Two things stand out to us. The order book has flipped from deposits to purchase orders. The 972 Tesla Semis ordered since May are trucks with delivery dates, and Einride starts taking them this month. And we keep China out of these tables on purpose. It put 140,000 electric heavy trucks on the road in the first half of 2026, more than the rest of the world has bought in total, and almost none of it came with a press release. Mixing the two would bury every order below. Everything on this page is a floor, not a census. We add every order we can verify, and we would like the list to get too long to read.

Every Tesla Semi customer with a public number. Tesla does not report Semi deliveries, it folds them into Other Models, so the in-service count is an estimate. The arrow on each line opens the source.

What counts. Battery-electric heavy trucks only: tractors and heavy rigids, roughly above 12 tonnes in Europe, Class 7 and 8 in the US, and China's new-energy heavy truck category. No vans, no pickups, no medium-duty step vans, no fuel-cell trucks. Off-road mining trucks are out too.
Why outside China. China registered 231,100 new-energy heavy trucks in 2025 and 140,000 in the first half of 2026, almost all of them battery-electric and almost none of them announced as orders. Putting those numbers next to a 105-truck order in Sweden would hide everything else, so Chinese domestic fleets stay out of these tables. Exports from Chinese makers to buyers elsewhere do count, which is why an 880-truck SANY shipment tops the order book.
Orders versus deliveries. An order counts when a company names a number and a truck. Letters of intent, targets and battery-swap service agreements are not in the 3,046 tally. Deliveries of orders placed before 2026 are listed under Latest but not counted again.
Why the tally is a floor. The EU registered 4,991 electric trucks above 16 tonnes in 2025 and most of those sales were never announced. This page tracks what fleets and makers say in public, which is a different and much smaller number than the registrations on the market-share tracker.
Approximations. A tilde marks a journalist's estimate rather than a company figure. Tesla has never published a Semi delivery count. PepsiCo's last verified figure is 86 trucks in May 2024. Einride's fleet size comes from Electrek. The SANY export shipment is reported as 880 by China Daily and 800 by Chinatrucks.
Refresh. We add orders as EVwire covers them and update maker figures each quarter. Every line on this page carries a small arrow that opens its source. The market-share tracker, which does include China, is at evwire.com/etrucks/market-share.
